Homelessness is a bigger problem than any one agency or government entity can solve.

    Safe Harbor provides emergency safe shelter for survivors of domestic violence who are attempting to flee their homes due to domestic violence. Partnership is established with Salvation Army of Greenville to accommodate male victims of DV who are in need of emergency shelter. **This must be initiated by male survivor of DV contacting Safe Harbor and completing their telephone intake.**

  • Available at Miracle Hill Ministries when the overnight low temperature drops below 40° (or 43° with a 60+% chance of rain) to anyone to stay after 9:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. Sobriety not required. Beds may open earlier depending on temperatures.

    Place of Hope does provide basic services, but it also strives to forge deeper relationships and address the core problems behind homelessness.

    By establishing relationships with participants, showing interest in, and understanding of their situation and partnering with other agencies in the community, the Place of Hope helps individuals get off the streets and into a home.

    Walk-ins may receive basic services such as access to a shower, restroom, laundry services, lockers, and more.

    Open 2-5 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Fridays 12 - 3 p.m. Pendleton Place’s Youth Resource Center (YRC) provides a low-barrier space to meet the basic needs of young adults ages 17-24 experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Their model of service utilizes a youth-focused framework incorporating positive youth development, trauma-informed care, and economic mobility.

    Anyone ages 17 to 24 can drop in to do laundry, eat, take a hot shower, use the computer lab, and relax. Short-term case management, housing assistance, and mentoring is available.
