2022 GOALS
The Greenville Homeless Alliance was created because this community - direct service providers, elected officials, business leaders, the faith community, healthcare, philanthropy, and so many others - recognized the need for an organization to lead the effort to understand and address the system-level issues that cause homelessness. It was also created because Greenville is a place of action plus compassion. GHA and its founding partners believe Greenville is only great when it's good for all.
GHA's 2022 goals were unanimously approved at the Steering Committee Strategy Retreat. The overall objective - increase understanding of homelessness in the Greenville community and increase cross-sector engagement in solutions-based work at all levels of the systems change chart. GHA Working Groups are aligned to impact all levels of system change.
A more detailed version of the 2022 Annual Plan can be found HERE. Transforming a system is really about transforming the relationships between people who make up the system. Charged with looking for sustainable solutions to homelessness, we educate, advocate, collaborate, and innovate with policymakers and the community.
In other words, we’re activating the right people to ignite real change.
GHA Working Groups are strategically aligned to address the conditions (like policies, relationships & connections, and mental models) that impact the issue of homelessness. In 2022, GHA is positioned to ignite change in Greenville County thanks to the involvement of our cross sector partners working across the five groups.
